Mr. Gyasi-Dankyira is the founder of the Firm. He is a graduate of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana with over 25 years standing in the profession. He holds an Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).

Richard has varied experience in Taxation, Insurance, Audit & Assurance, Treasury & Cash Management and Accounting. He has worked across Internal Audit, Finance, Accounting and Administration in local and multinational companies — including Oil Marketing (ELF OIL, now TOTAL Petroleum) as Assistant Treasury Manager and Fixed Assets Accountant; FMCG (Unilever Ghana) as Product Cost Accountant; Estate Management (Swanzy Real Estate) as Internal Audit Assistant and Management Accountant; Educational Publishing (Unimax Macmillan Limited) as Finance and Accounts Manager; Telecommunications (Ghana Telecom / Vodafone Ghana) as Head of Treasury, Tax and Payroll; Church Management (Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Head Office) as Director of Finance; Higher Education Management (CEIBS) as Head of Finance and Administration; and Telecommunications, Media, Micro-Finance & Health Insurance (THE TXT Group) as Group CFO.

Richard has held senior management positions across these organizations for more than 20 years, building deep experience in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Auditing, Insurance, Treasury & Cash Management, Administration, Human Resources and Project Management.

Simon Kwasi Brupeh is the Partner responsible for audit and assurance engagements for RichSam & Associates and also the Managing Partner for SW-CPA Consult -Chartered Accountants. He has over 30 years’ experience in Audit and Assurance, Internal Control, Accounting and Financial Management. Prior to becoming one of our partners, he spent most of his practicing life as a chartered accountant with one of the finest home-grown practicing accounting firms called Veritas Associates. He also worked for the then Unique Life Assurance Company as the Chief Finance Officer. Simon worked extensively in the telecommunications industry with the then Western Telesystems Ghana Limited (Westel) which later became Airtel Ghana. By dint of hard, he was appointed as the Finance Manager.

Simon started his career as a Trainee Accountant with the then Fiadjoe and Associates which has now become Ernst and Young Ghana. He was trained and mentored by one of the first Audit Partners of Ernst and Young and later worked with him again at Veritas Associates as the Senior Audit Manager. He later took up an appointment as the Chief Finance Officer of a Life Insurance Company.

Simon has extensive knowledge in the development and implementation of financial and strategic planning decisions and ensuring adherence to financial forecasts, budgets and budgetary control activities. He has designed and developed tailor-made financial and accounting services for start-ups and small and medium-sized entities. He has the ability to implement robust internal control and risk mitigation procedures to reduce the likelihood and impact of risk exposures for entities.

Simon is a chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.

Simon’s experience covers the following areas: financial services industry, telecommunications, bulk oil distribution and marketing, public sector, educational sector organizations and audits of all kinds. He is therefore a capable resource for all your business needs in audit, assurance, accounting, taxation and business advisory services.

Bright is the Partner of our firm, responsible for the Accounting and Tax Advisory services unit. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School. He also holds a first class bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana Business School. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. He was awarded the overall best candidate in Corporate Reporting by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana.

Bright is a Chartered Tax Practitioner and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana. He also holds membership of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants' in the United Kingdom (CIMA-UK).

Bright has work experience in the areas of Finance, Accounting and Auditing. Before joining RichSam & Associates, he worked as a Mobile Financial Services Officer at Millicom Ghana Ltd (Tigo), developing and reporting on the mobile financial services (Tigo Cash) aspect of the business. He also worked as Accountant at Enterprise Risk Management Institute Ghana, overseeing Finance and Accounting operations.

Seline is the one of the firm’s Senior Audit Assistants who also doubles as the Business Development Officer of the firm. She holds a BSc. Administration (Accounting Option) degree from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon. She is a finalist in the professional examinations organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.

Seline holds as MBA degree in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon.

Before joining the team at RichSam & Associates, Seline worked as Accounts Officer at the Ministry of Health and later as Assistant Accountant in a property management company (Willows Property Management Ltd.) in Accra.
